Tiger 3 and Jawan are two superhit movies of 2023. While the former featured Salman Khan in the titular role, the latter featured Shah Rukh Khan in it. Though these films have scripted history at the box office, not many know that actress Ridhi Dogra featured in both films for a short and crisp role. Narrating in detail about her professional life, the 39-year-old diva expressed that she is in dire need of big roles that help her pave her way in the spotlight.
Ridhi Dogra feels the need for ‘big roles and spotlight’
Sharing about the problems of nepotism in Bollywood, Ridhi Dogra told HT City, “I have so much love from the audience, but the industry needs to wake up. What is it that you need to do to prove yourself? I have proved myself time and again. What is probably not there is that I am nobody’s sister, nobody’s daughter, nephew, or niece.”
Ridhi assured her fans that she would continue to put meaningful efforts into her career to overcome these obstacles.
“I am going to keep pushing it, wherever I can. If you work in a factory, and the factory owner is more comfortable talking to his bhatija, over the guy who is putting in hours and hours, you can’t do anything. I have proven myself enough, now I need the big roles and spotlight,” asserted Dogra.
