Tiger 3 Day 4 box office collections dip: Salman Khan's action extravaganza weakens, but crosses Rs 169 crore mark

Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi's Tiger 3 saw an alarming 50% decline in its revenues on Day 4 of its release.

Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan, was released in theaters on Diwali and made substantial opening-day box office earnings of Rs 44.5 crore in India. However, the movie had a 50% decline on its fourth day in theatres after earning substantial sums in its first three days of release. Industry tracker Sacnilk reports that Tiger 3's box office receipts dropped from Rs 44 crore on Tuesday to Rs 22 crore on Wednesday.

As a result, Tiger 3's domestic box office collections are at Rs 169.5 crore nett. The movie has brought in a total of Rs 241.85 crore worldwide.

The Maneesh Sharma movie opened in more than 4500 theatres nationwide. However, attendance in the Delhi-NCR area was only 19% and the movie's occupancy rate in Mumbai is a mere 18.25%.

Katrina Kaif's reaction to the success of Tiger 3

Earlier, Katrina Kaif responded to Tiger 3's box office triumph. She stated, "It's truly delightful to witness the widespread entertainment that Tiger 3 is bringing to people across the nation this Diwali," as reported by news agency ANI. She further added that it's incredible to watch audiences dancing merrily in theatres across the nation. The audience's excitement, applause, and whistles convey how much fun they are having during this holiday season at the movies.

About Tiger 3

Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi play key roles in Tiger 3. Katrina returns as Zoya and Salman as Tiger. Aditya Chopra is the producer of the movie. Tiger 3 is reportedly the most expensive project of Yash Raj Films, having been developed on an estimated budget of Rs 300 crore.

Along with characters like War and Pathaan, Tiger 3 is the third entry in the Tiger franchise and a part of the YRF Spy Universe. It's interesting to note that it also features a post-credit scene with Hrithik Roshan and cameo appearances by Shah Rukh Khan. The film was released in theatres on November 12.
