Nivin Pauly’s Thaaram went on floors in November but quickly wrapped up its schedule
Malayalam star Nivin Pauly’s Thaaran, which went on floors in November 2022, could be reshot, according to reports. The movie, which is directed by Vinay Govind, had a short schedule in Manali in November before the makers decided to call it wraps, with Nivin then starting work on his physical transformation.
According to sources from the industry, the Premam actor was not satisfied with the box office results of his previous films and deemed it best that he work on getting himself back to shape and reconsider his line-up of movies. While it’s not still not clear when Nivin would rejoin Thaaram, the actor has lost weight and is currently shooting for Haneef Adeni’s movie.
The latter movie went on floors in Dubai a few months ago and the makers also shared photos of Nivin, in his lean avatar, from the sets of the movie. The actor will also be co-producing the film, like he did with Thaaram. Apart from Nivin, the Haneef Adeni film also has Arsha Baiju, Mamitha Baiju, Jaffer Idukki, Vinay Forrt and Vijilesh as part of the cast. Vinay was also part of Thaaram, which had Nikhila Vimal and Kayadu Lohar as its lead actresses.
Meanwhile, Nivin will also join the sets of Jana Gana Mana director Dijo Jose Antony’s next movie in Dubai. The team is planning to begin shooting the film as soon as Nivin wraps up the shoot of Haneef’s directorial. The cast and crew of Dijo’s film is yet to be announced.

The actor’s next release will be the much-delayed Thuramukham, which is helmed by Rajeev Ravi. The period thriller set in the 1900s revolves around the chappa system that was practiced in Cochin Port and has the actor essaying the role of a Mattanchery-based labourer named Moidu. Nivin also has Ram’s Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai in Tamil that is set for release soon.
