After the success of the 2023 crime comedy Keeda Cola, director Tharun Bhasckar is presenting a new web series titled Thulasivanam that is made under his home banner, VG Sainma. The comedy series, which is scheduled to stream on ETV Win, will premiere on March 21. The series is written and directed by Anil Reddy and stars Venkatesh Kakumanu and Akshay Lagusani in lead roles. It is slated to be an out-and-out comedy entertainer that is jointly produced by Swagath Reddy, Nilith Paidipally, Preetham Devi Reddy, Anil Boreddy, Pavan Reddy Kandi, Jeevan Kumar and Saikrishna Gadwal.

No teaser or trailer yet for Thulasivanam
There has been no teaser or trailer for Thulasivanam that has been released yet. A new poster features Venkatesh Kakumanu and Akshay Lagusani in a quirky pose, in which Akshay is seen sitting on top of Venkatesh, with the latter frowning in distress. The poster hints that the series is a laugh riot and with a comedy duo in the lead, it promises entertainment.
Who are Venkatesh Kakumanu and Akshay Lagusani?
Actor Venkatesh Kakumanu has been part of several films. The actor first rose to fame with the 2018 film Ee Nagariki Emaindi. Apart from Thulasivanam, Venkatesh will also soon be seen in the film Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana, helmed by Purushotham Raaj.

Akshay Lagusani is a popular face on OTT and has been a part of several hit shows, including Hostel Days (Amazon Prime Video) and Dead Pixels (Disney+ Hotstar). The actor recently appeared in the Nithya Menen-starrer OTT series Kumari Srimathi.
