Thug Life
Thug Life marks Kamal's reunion with Mani Ratnam after a gap of 36 years. Besides Kamal, this movie also boasts other big stars, including Jayam Ravi, Dulquer Salmaan and Trisha. The title poster shows Kamal in violent combat with several opponents, revealing that his character is a gangster and that his name is Rangaraya Sakthivel Nayakan.
Brother
Brother is an upcoming comedy drama, helmed by M Rajesh. The movie follows the emotional journey of siblings, with Jayam Ravi and Bhumika Chawla playing the lead roles. The film's first-look poster hints at a tale of a man who, fed up with city life, moves to the village seeking peace, only to find it elusive amid a cast of colourful characters.
Siren
Although initially scheduled to have a December 2023 release, this Antony Bhagyaraj film starring Jayam Ravi and Keerthy Suresh has pushed its release date to 2024. The revenge thriller revolves around an ambulance driver-turned-criminal, awaiting the day of his release from prison. However, the man is let out of jail, after 14 years, on parole. In this movie, Ravi plays a convict, serving time for murder, while Keerthy Suresh takes on the leading lady role.
Kadhalikka Neramillai
Helmed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, this upcoming romantic drama will star Jayam Ravi alongside Nithya Menen. The movie’s team recently unveiled a first-look poster hinting at an out-and-out love story. This Jayam Ravi-starrer also has AR Rahman composing the music.
Genie
This fantasy drama is helmed by debutant Bhuvanesh Arjunan, starring Jayam Ravi and Krithi Shetty, alongside Kalyani Priyadarshan and Wamiqa Gabbi. The movie is a fantasy adventure and is going to be one of the high budget films of his career. AR Rahman is scoring the music for the film.
