Silambarasan, who is set to play a pivotal role in the upcoming Kamal Haasan-Mani Ratnam movie Thug Life, was recently spotted at the location of the action drama.
Thug Life, the highly anticipated Mani Ratnam directorial which features Kamal Haasan in the lead role started rolling in Chennai in February 2024. The movie, which is touted to be an action drama, also features popular actor Silambarasan TR in a pivotal role. The cast and crew of the much-awaited film are now busy with the shooting in New Delhi. A new video of Silambarasan from the location of Thug Life is now going viral on social media.
In a recent video from the location of Thug Life Silambarasan TR is seen greeting his fans, during the shoot break. In the video which is now going viral on social media, a group of fans, which majorly includes kids are seen interacting with the talented actor and shaking hands with him, as he headed out of the sets for a quick break. Later, Simbu is also seen posting with a group of kids, who are visibly excited to meet the Maanaadu actor.

Notably, the talented actor is seen flaunting his new leaner physique in the Thug Life location video. Silambarasan is also seen sporting a short ponytail hairdo, which is teamed up with a light stubble beard, for his new look in the Mani Ratnam directorial. Even though nothing much has been revealed about the multi-faceted talent’s role in the Kamal Haasan starrer, rumor mills suggest that Simbu will be sporting multiple looks in the film.

If the recent reports are to be believed, Silambarasan TR is set to shoot a high-octane fight sequence, which involves around 50 stunt artists, for the Mani Ratnam project. The actor reportedly plays the role of Kamal Haasan’s son in the film, while Trisha Krishnan, the popular actress appears as his pair. Thug Life will feature a stellar star cast including Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Abhirami, Nassar, Vaiyapuri, and others in pivotal roles. AR Rahman is composing the songs and original score for the project.
