About Three Of Us

Written and directed by Avinash Arun, Three Of Us is the story of Shailaja, a woman who goes back to her roots in Malvan where she confronts her past, beginning the story of hope, lost love and redemption. The film, that beautifully portrayed what it means to going back to the roots, garnered critical acclaim and has been appreciated by viewers as well.

The film has been called a cathartic watch by many and even praised for its acting performances, cinematography, and emotions. Avinash Arun has been a cinematographer for a long time and got into direction later with Marathi films like Killa. As per ABP Live, Shefali Shah said that the audience has always seen her play strong characters because that’s what her image is. “But there’s a very, very vulnerable side to me in ‘Three Of Us’ that I share with her (character Shailja); however, she’s far more delicate and far more fragile. And it also has to do with the fact that she’s losing grip on herself," she said.
