Thor: Love and Thunder – Leaked photos unveil Chris Hemsworth and Christian Bale’s characters’ looks from Marvel movie

Thor: Love and Thunder is a heavily hyped Marvel Studios film set to release in 2022.

Thor: Love and Thunder, Marvel's highly anticipated 2022 film, has already leaked a few promotional photographs featuring Natalie Portman's Jane Foster in full costume and holding Mjolnir. A few recently published photos give fans a fresh look at how she plays Mjolnir, as well as a look at Hemsworth's Thor's new look.

A Reddit user has posted a new snap from the next series of Marvel Legends toys for Thor: Love and Thunder, which includes a new tease for Natalie Portman's Jane Foster.

"Jane Foster's life is forever transformed when she magically comes to hold the hammer Mjolnir... and the Mighty Thor's might!" states the description on the back of her figure's packaging. "Thor wields the powerful Stormbreaker against a fearsome new opponent," claims another Reddit user about one of Chris Hemsworth's new costumes, Ravager Thor.

The revised descriptions don't disclose any particular specifics, but they do give us an idea, as the outlet points out. Portman will not only play Jane in Love and Thunder, but she will also wield Mjolnir and take on the role of Thor. The hammer appears to be made up of all of Thor's prior weapon's original shattered pieces, all patched together and held together by an unknown force.

Taika Waititi, who previously directed Ragnarok, is directing Thor: Love and Thunder. Waititi, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Sean Gunn, Pom Klementieff, Tessa Thompson, and Jaimie Alexander are among the cast members of the picture, which comprises a virtual army of performers.

In addition to some of these actors, Bale will portray Gorr the God Butcher, the film's antagonist, and Russell Crowe will play Zeus, a Marvel character based on the mythological Greek ruler of gods.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be released on July 22.
