THIS popular Hindi heroine is in talks for Devara 2. Devara is one of the most-awaited films in Telugu cinema, as Jr NTR has teamed up with director Koratala Siva after a long break. It is a known fact that Devara will be released in two parts and Janhvi Kapoor will be making her Telugu debut with the action drama.

Bollywood heroine to be a part of Devera 2

Now, the buzz in film circles is that the makers have approached Hindi heroine Shraddha Kapoor to play the female lead in Devara 2. Shraddha Kapoor made her South Indian debut with the film Saaho, featuring Prabhas as the male lead. She is quite popular with the Telugu audiences and if she bags this project, it will be a good comeback for her, since Shraddha does not have many films in her kitty as of now.

Devara has Jr NTR in a double role and the news is that he will be seen playing the father and son in the film. The word in the film circles is that part 2 of Devera will be about NTR, the father, and his flashback will be shown in the sequel. That is the reason Shraddha Kapoor is in talks to play the female lead in this film.

Saif Ali Khan will also make his debut in this film, which has music by Anirudh. The makers initially announced that Devara would be out on April 5, 2024. But as the post-production is taking a lot of time they postponed the releases for October 10, 2024, as a Dussehra special.

Devara is about the forgotten coastal lands in Telugu states and has been made on a whopping budget of close to Rs 200 crore. Jr NTR's brother, Kalyan Ram, is co-producing this film and he has been giving regular updates about the film to the fans.

Though an official confirmation about Shraddha Kapoor is yet to be made official, this news has gone viral in the inner circles of Tollywood. NTR will also team up with Prashanth Neel for his next film, and this film will go on floors by the end of 2024. Watch this space for more.
