Prabhas has teamed up with Maurthi for a horror comedy titled The Raja Saab. The makers are in plans to release the film in December 2024.

Prabhas has finally scored a hit after a long time with Salaar as the film ended as a massive success at the box office and showcased Prabhas' true power across the globe. His fans were eagerly waiting to see Prabhas in a mass avatar and Prashanth Neel of KGF fame made it happen for them.
Well, the star hero has now shifted his focus to yet another film Kalki 2898 AD which is also nearing its completion and will be out on May 9, 2024. But all eyes are now on his new film The Raja Saab which is being directed by Maurthi. Well, the news now is that the makers have decided to release the film during Christmas 2024.
One of the sources close to the director says that the film is 50% done with its shoot and will surely come out by the end of the year. Raja Saab is a romantic horror comedy which is a first for Prabhas as he has never done a horror film ever in his career.

As he has been doing back-to-back action films, Prabhas wanted to do something light and hence chose Maruthi to direct The Raja Saab. The film's first look and title were revealed on the auspicious occasion of Sankranthi 2024. Prabhas was seen in a lungi-clad avatar and impressed one and all.
Malavika Mohanan plays the female lead in this film which also marks the debut of star Tamil comedian Yogi Babu into Telugu cinema. UV Creations is bankrolling this film on a massive budget and it will be released in multiple languages.
As per the update, Prabhas will be seen as a village guy in this film which is a dream come true moment for director Maruthi. The Raja Saab is being shot in Hyderabad and other locations on AP. Prabhas will be seen in a very colorful avatar after a long time and we have come to know that right from his look to the character, Prabhas will be showcased in a vintage manner which his fans used to love.
Prabhas has been doing back-to-back films and this hectic schedule has taken a toll on his body and that is the reason, he felt sick a bit. He also underwent knee surgery in Europe and is now back in the game. Once he wraps up Kalki, Prabhas will dedicate his full attention to this Maruthi-starrer.
