The latest from the film is that the makers have zeroed in on a release date. The film will hit theatres on September 15.
About Nadikalil Sundari Yamuna
Set in the rural Kannur, Nadikalil Sundari Yamuna follows the lives of two friends, Kannan and Vidhyadharan, played by Aju Varghese and Dhyan Sreenivasan.
The two actors, who are known for their off-screen friendship, have previously acted together in movies like Kunjiramayanam, Adi Kapyare Kootamani, and Goodalochana.

Nadikalil Sundari Yamuna, which is a love story, draws inspiration from the real life of its producer, Murali Kunnumpurath. Other members of the cast are Nirmal Palazhi, Aneesh Gopal, Navas Vallikkunnu, Manoj, and Bhanu Payyannur.
Murali had praised the dedication of Aju and Dhyan through a post on social media, in which he wrote that Aju worked for 7 extra days without pay. Murali also acknowledged Dhyan's support throughout all stages of the film.
Dhyan forays into playback singing
Dhyan also forayed into playback singing through the song Konnadi Penne in Nadikalil Sundari Yamuna. The lyrics of the song have been written by Manu Manjith, while the music is composed by Arun Muralidharan.

It is interesting to note that Vellam, starring Jayasurya was based on the life of the businessman Murali Kunnumpurath, the producer of Nadikalil Sundari Yamuna.
Jayasurya essayed the character of Murali in Vellam, which is about his journey from a full-time alcoholic to a successful businessman. Samyuktha Menon played the female lead in the movie, and she was paired opposite Jayasurya.
Vellam also starred Siddique, Sreelakshmi, Santhosh Keezhattoor, and Johny Antony in supporting roles.
