After Dunki’s massive success at the box office, actress T aapsee Pannu is all set to embark on the next chapter of her life – wedding to longtime boyfriend, Mathias Boe. But the paparazzi’s obsessive interest in her personal life has prompted the Haseen Dillruba actress to address this issue in a recent interview to entertainment portal, Zoom.
Taapsee Pannu seems annoyed with media’s undue interest in her upcoming wedding
Talking on the latest episode of Wonder Women Zoom, Taapsee confronted the issue of media’s extreme inclination in getting to know the minutest details of her March wedding to longtime sweetheart Mathias Boe. Speaking about it, Taapsee said, “Were people not expecting me to get married or what? I’ll myself announce about it when I find the time and place for it.” She further said that she was unaware about her name trending on social media for this reason at all, and that, thankfully, people haven’t found any faults with her choice of wedding or spouse-to-be so far.

Hitting back at those who have been speculating about it for a long time, she asked “Why did anyone even have doubts about it? Whenever I do (get married), they’ll come to know about it,”

“It’s stupid to start these marriage speculations now. This should have started 10 years back when I started dating Mathias because I was sure, within a year of dating him, that I will marry this man,” she quipped.
Not the one to mince words, Taapsee seemed annoyed at having to issue clarifications around whether her wedding is taking place or not, when and with whom. She also pointed out that her audience identified with her because they loved the body of work that she’s done so far. On the other hand, this unnecessary curiosity that she aptly termed “constant forceful poking and prodding” made her even more guarded. She went on to cross-question the paparazzi, remarking, “Am I doing something wrong? Like it’s a part of our life which is accepted by everyone. It’s not like I am cheating on someone or doing something illegal. So, why this whole thing around a single person getting married?” Moreover, Taapsee said that she’s always been open about her relationship and not hidden it, so why make so much noise about her wedding.
