Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead with Prakash Raj, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu and Ammu Abhirami cast in supporting roles. The shoot is on at Rameshwaram and surrounding areas like Tuticorin, Karaikudi and Chennai.
Ammu Abhirami rose to fame with her role as Mariyammal, Dhanush’s love interest in Asuran. The actress is looking forward to her next release Navarasa where she plays a supporting role in Inmai, an episode directed by Rathindran R. Prasad.
AV33 is produced under Drumstick Production. GV Prakash Kumar composes music for the film. Meanwhile, director Hari, who last helmed the unsuccessful Saamy Square starring Vikram, is hopeful of a strong comeback. Saamy Square was the sequel to the 2003 blockbuster cop drama Saamy but was deemed a disaster by the critics and audience alike.
