The third single from Sivakarthikeyan's Don, Private Party, will be out at 5 pm
The third single from Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film Don is all set to be out tomorrow. The single, Private Party, will be out at 5 pm. The song is sung by the film's composer Anirudh Ravichander and Jonita Gandhi. Lyrics have been penned by Sivakarthikeyan himself.
Taking to his social media page, Sivakarthikeyan made the announcement and also shared a glimpse of the song. He wrote, "Third single #PrivateParty from #DON releasing tomorrow at 5pm ๐ ROCKSTAR @anirudhofficial musical ๐ฅณ @Dir_Cibi @priyankaamohan @shobimaster @jonitamusic @KalaiArasu_ @SKProdOffl @LycaProductions @bhaskaran_dop @Inagseditor #DONfromMay13 (sic)."
Don is an action comedy written and directed by Cibi Chakaravarthi. The film marks his directorial debut. Priyanka Arul Mohan plays the leading lady in it and the rest of the star cast includes Arul Mohan, SJ Suryah, Samuthirakani, Soori, Kaali Venkat, Munishkanth, Bala Saravanan, Raju Jeyamohan and Sivaangi. Gautham Menon has made a cameo appearance. The portions of the film were canned across Chennai, Coimbatore, Pollachi and Udumalpet. They also headed to Agra to film a song. While the cinematography is by KM Bhaskaran, editing is by Nagooran.
Sivakarthikeyan is said to be playing a college student in the film, and SJ Suryah, his college principal. The songs Jalabulajangu and Bae, which were released earlier are already chartbusters. The team had recently released some colourful posters as well that had stormed the internet. Though the makers had planned to release the film by the end of March, they delayed the plan as SS Rajamouli's RRR too hit screens at the same time. Now, the film is finally gearing up to hit screens on May 13.
Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in Nelson Dilipkumar's black comedy Doctor, in which he teamed up with Priyanka Arul Mohan and Vinay Rai. SJ Suryah, on the other had, was seen in Venkat Prabhu's thriller Maanaadu starring Silambarasan TR in the lead. SJ Suryah's performance in the film was well received by the audience.
