Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan’s second release of the year after a 4-year-long hiatus, has opened to unprecedented fanfare. Director Atlee’s film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani, and looks set to beat Shah Rukh’s Pathaan at the box office.
The film is not just being lauded by SRK’s fans, but by several celebrities as well. Shah Rukh’s friends and industry colleagues have been congratulating him for Jawan by posting congratulatory messages on their social media handles.
Celebrity reactions to Jawan
Ridhi Dogra, who has a supporting role in Jawan, took to Twitter to post a mini review of the film and to shower praise on Shah Rukh Khan’s acting prowess. She wrote, “I just saw the film of the century!! #Jawan. All I want to say at this point is You’re all in for an Incredibly Supremely Immensely successful Cinematic Euphoric viewing experience!!!! And @iamsrk has knocked it out of the PARK. In fact, the Park is a Dot!”
Casting director Mukesh Chhabra shared a heartfelt note on Twitter, and wrote, “Jawan was an emotional roller coaster. Thank you for making me a part of this film @iamsrk and @Atlee_dir and @_GauravVerma. Even if I wasn’t a part of this film, it moved me and gave me goosebumps. One of the best Bollywood and Pan India films I have seen. Massy with a message.”

Rapper Raja Kumari, who attended the private screening of Jawan, said that she was screaming and crying. “I won't tell you guys any secrets, but it was mind blowing," she said. The singer-songwriter has sung and penned the lyrics of Jawan’s title track, which is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
The star cast of Jawan
Jawan released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, in theatres worldwide on September 7. It looks set to be Shah Rukh’s second blockbuster film of the year, having sold over 5 lakh tickets in advance bookings alone. Alongside Shah Rukh, the film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Ridhi Dogra, with Deepika Padukone in a cameo appearance.
