PK revolves around an alien (Aamir Khan) who tries to find the remote of his spaceship that got lost on earth and ends up searching for God. Anushka plays the role of Jaggu, who helps PK get back to his home planet in this comedy-drama, which also features Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles. PK broke all previous box office records and became the highest-grossing film of the year.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (Voot)
Anushka plays Alizeh, an independent woman recovering from a recent break-up, who meets an amateur and naive musician, Ayan (Ranbir Kapoor), who falls for her. However, the circumstances take the duo on two different paths.
The star-studded film also has Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan in pivotal roles with special appearances by Shah Rukh Khan, Lisa Haydon and Imran Ali Abbas.

The film, directed by Prosit Roy and produced by Anushka, is a supernatural-horror story of Rukhsana (Sharma), who has been raised detached from the world but falls in love when a man, Arnab (Parambrata Chatterjee) empathises with her. Anushka's performance was praised and the makers won acclaim for attempting a movie in this genre.
Band Baaja Baaraat (Amazon Prime Video)
The rom-com, directed by Maneesh Sharma, revolves around two youngsters Shruti and Bittoo who start a wedding-planning company called Shaadi Mubarak, but soon their relationship gets complicated as one falls in love with the other. The film was also remade in Tamil as Aaha Kalyanam, starring Nani and Vaani Kapoor.
Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (Amazon Prime Video)
Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, which once again had Ranveer Singh and Anushka, revolves around a fraudster who pretends to fall in love with rich women and swindles them or their money. To get back at him, three women plot together and hire a smart sales girl Ishika (Anushka).
