Ahead of the release of Bond Ravi, Pramod and his costar Kajal Kunder paid a visit to Puneeth Rajkumar's memorial at the Kanteerava Studios in Bengaluru.
Actor Pramod, known popularly as Pramod Panju, is currently in the thick of a rather bright phase of his acting career. Having garnered really good reviews for his performance in Rohit Padaki's Rathnan Prapancha Pramod has now earned himself a crack at bigger prospects with a lead role in the upcoming film Bond Ravi, a casting call from the team of Salaar, and much more.
Ahead of the release of Bond Ravi, Pramod and his costar Kajal Kunder paid a visit to Puneeth Rajkumar's memorial at the Kanteerava Studios in Bengaluru and interacted with the media about the special place the late superstar has in his heart.
"I would feel quite emotional every time I had to pass by the Kanteerava Studios because I know that Appu sir resides here. I have always felt that I boast a special connection with him and since the title of my film (Bond Ravi) refers to his character in Anna Bond, the connection seems only stronger. I feel his blessings are with me and I wished to begin the pre-release promotions by visiting his memorial. I remember Puneeth sir praising me after watching Rathnan Prapancha so I am sure that he would have been equally delighted with the fact that we have named our film after his character. Seeing his beaming face in that big photograph is surely an emotional moment for me," said Pramod in his media interaction.
In Bond Ravi, which releases on December 9, Pramod plays the titular role of a prison inmate who happens to be a major Puneeth Rajkumar fan. As seen in the trailer, much of the drama unfolds inside the four walls of a prison with the film featuring prominent elements of action and romance in the storyline.
Kajal Kunder plays the female lead with Ravi Kale, Shobaraj, Telugu actor Ravi Prakash, and others as part of the principal cast. Prajwal is the film's director with Narasimha Murthy V serving as the producer.
