The Theme Of Kalki song, which gives the listener goosebumps right from its beginning, celebrates the rise of Kalki, the 10th incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Even though the first eight incarnations are represented with sketches, the makers have kept Krishna under wraps. The powerful composition, renditions by the team of singers including Kaala Bhairava, Ananthu, Gowtham Bharadwaj, and Chorus, and the lyrics by Chandrabose make the Kalki 2898 AD second single, magnificent.
Deepika Padukone appears as Sum-80, the divine mother who carries the unborn Kalki in her womb. Amitabh Bachchan appears as Immortal Ashwatthama who is entrusted with the safety of the unborn chosen one and his mother.
