Based on the bestselling children’s book by Aaron Blabey, Thelma the Unicorn revolves around the challenging life of a pony, Thelma. Her life turns upside down when she is mistaken for a magical unicorn, and her dreams of entering a talent show become real.

“Sign with me, and I can turn you into a big superstar just like Nikki,” says the organiser as he asks Thelma to sign a talent deal with him. However, the twist here is the fierce competitor, Nikki, who would do anything to reveal the true identity of Thelma.

Helmed by Jared Hess and Lynn Wang, the adventure animated film is written by Jerucha Hess and Jared. The star-studded ensemble of voice artists features singer Brittany Howard as lead character Thelma, Will Forte as Otis, Jemaine Clement as Vic Diamond, Edi Patterson as Megan, Zach Galifianakis as Crusty Tucker, Fred Armisen as Danny Stallion, Jon Heder as Reggie, Maliaka Mitchell as Peggy, and Ally Dixon as Nikki Narwhal.
