Prakash Ragavadass has directed the project which will hit the screens soon

The team of Theenkirai, directed by Prakash Ragavadass, has unveiled the film's trailer, which offers a sneak peek into its theme. The one-and-a-half promo video hints at the film's genre and the nature of characters a few actors play in the movie.
Srikanth is seen essaying a stern cop who is after a psycho killer; while the latter is on a killing spree, throwing law and order situation in the city topsy-turvy. Vetri, who plays another lead in the project, is a street artist with a mysterious character arc to him. The actor is spotted sporting a lean avatar this time.
Apoorva, Smruthi Venkat and Nizhalgal Ravi among others essay notable characters in the film which has been produced by Twd Media Private Limited. The project, which was wrapped up a few months ago, is expected to hit the screens soon.
Yuvaraj Manoharan and CS Prem Kumar have handled cinematography and editing respectively for the movie which has songs composed by Prakash Nikki. Harish Arjun is in charge of background score and PC Stunts has choreographed action scenes. Theenkirai is the latest to join the list of whodunit movies in Tamil.
Srikanth was seen in Maha and Coffee With Kadhal this year in Tamil, and he has Echo slated for release soon. Vetri, on the other hand, had Jothi and Jiivi 2 this year. The latter was the actor's first OTT release. He has the much-expected Memories in his kitty.
The makers had unveiled a video song from Theenkirai a few days ago. The melody, which has voice lent by Sid Sriram and lyrics penned by Mohan Rajan, is already a hit on YouTube.
