The White Lotus Season 4 greenlit ahead of Season 3 release; here's all you need to know

HBO has confirmed The White Lotus Season 4, with production aiming to start in 2026.

HBO has confirmed that production on Season 4 of The White Lotus will begin in 2026. Nobody knows where or if any of the original cast members will return for season four. Casey Bloys, CEO of HBO and Max, disclosed in November 2024 that creator-showrunner Mike White had already approached him with ideas.

Season 3 of The White Lotus set in Thailand, premiering February 17, 2025

Just weeks before Season 3 of the Emmy-winning ensemble drama travels to Thailand for its launch on February 16, 2025, the show has been renewed early. Season 1 took place in Hawaii, and the only returning cast member is Natasha Rothwell, who played spa manager Belinda Lindsey. Season 2 saw Jennifer Coolidge return as Tanya McQuoid.

So far, the show has tracked groups of problematic vacationers in both seasons as they interact with the personnel at the lovely White Lotus resort and act out their darkest, most entitled instincts. Both seasons featured a mysterious death.

New cast members for Season 3 in Thailand

On the Thai leg of Rothwell's tour, you can find Parker Posey, Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Tayme Thapthimthong, Christian Friedel, Julian Kostov, Morgana O'Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Carrie Coon, Scott Glenn, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, and Lisa, who is a member of Blackpink.

The White Lotus won 15 Emmys in its first two seasons, most notably for best limited series. However, the show shifted into the drama genre when it reunited with Coolidge for a second installment.

White, together with David Bernad and Mark Kamine, serves as the series' executive producer.

Season 3 to have 8 episodes, release dates for India

Meanwhile, there will be eight episodes in The White Lotus Season 3. The first two episodes will premiere on February 17, 2025, in India, available to stream on JioCinema (OTTplay Premium). Next, the streamer will release the remaining episodes on a weekly basis until April 6, 2025.
