The Wheel Of Time was renewed for season 2 almost two years back, and now the makers have finally dropped the official poster of the upcoming instalment. With the latest image, the makers have also informed the viewers about the release date of the show.
The Amazon Prime Video show will premiere on September 1 and is said to pick up where it left off in the first instalment. Based on the best-selling Robert Jordan fantasy series, The Wheel of Time follows the lives of five friends as they embark on a perilous journey.
The OTT giant dropped the first poster of The Wheel Of Time season 2 with a quirky caption that reads, "what does The Pattern have in store? #WOTonPrime S2, Sept 1 (sic)."

The plotline of the series explains that Moiraine, an Aes Sedai, joins forces with her loyal Warder, Lan, on a quest to find a group of young villagers from Two Rivers. Convinced that one of them is the reborn Dragon, a mighty channeler who holds the fate of the world in their hands, Moiraine embarks on a thrilling journey of discovery and destiny.
Adapted for the screen by the book of the same name by Robert Jordan with Brandon Sanderson, the epic drama series is developed by Rafe Judkins.
The Wheel of Time Season 2, which stars Rosamund Pike, Daniel Henney, and Fares Fares in pivotal roles along with Zoë Robins, Madeleine Madden, Josha Stradowski, Marcus Rutherford, Barney Harris, Kate Fleetwood, Priyanka Bose, Hammed Animashaun, Sophie Okonedo, and Kae Alexander in supporting roles, is set to release on Amazon Prime Video on September 1, 2023.
