The Warriorr: Ram Pothineni's RAPO19 finally gets a release date with a brand-new poster

N. Lingusamy is directing The Warriorr which is also known as RAPO19. With a powerful image featuring Ram Pothineni, the makers revealed the July 14 release date today.

Ram Pothineni is depicted on the poster with a ferocious expression. He's sitting on an explosive box on a train station platform. A group of criminals is seen racing away in the image, with a wounded Ram clutching a gun in style, clearly taken from a high-voltage stunt scene.

In The Warriorr Ram Pothineni will appear as a police officer for the first time. Srinivasaa Chitturi's film, a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, is being produced on a large scale by Srinivasaa Silver Screen. The film is directed by Pavan Kumar.

After last year's success with Seetimaar this is the production house's latest attempt. In this film, Aadhi Pinisetty plays a terrifying villain. Whistle Mahalakshmi is the name of the female lead, played by Krithi Shetty. Devi Sri Prasad's music is acknowledged to be one of the film's highlights.

When the film is released in theatres, it is expected to be met with an action festival. The film is produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi and presented by Pavan Kumar under the Srinivasaa Silver Screen label.

Lingusamy said in 2016 that he was planning a bilingual film in Telugu and Tamil, which would be his Telugu debut. He first approached Allu Arjun to feature in the film, but due to Allu Arjun's busy schedule, the film was postponed. Havish was cast in the starring role in 2019, but the film was never made.

On February 18, 2021, Ram Pothineni was recruited on board the film, which was tentatively titled #RAPO19, with Srinivasa Chitturi producing the film under his company, Srinivasa Silver Screen. Pothineni's Tamil debut follows the failure of Yen Endral Kadhal Enben! the Tamil remake of Endukante... Premanta! (2012), to find a theatrical release. The Warriorr was announced as the film's title in January 2022.
