The wait is over for Kesariya! Here's when Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's Brahmastra song will be finally out

After a long wait of three months, the makers of Brahmastra are set to drop the Kesariya song. Yes, the track, which urged fans to file a petition to want a full version, will be released on Sunday. To the delight of fans, Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji took to Instagram and penned a note sharing his excitement at the unveiling of Kesariya. The song features the lead stars, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, doing all things romantic.

While teasing the song, Mukerji wrote that the release of Kesariya is tomorrow, and it's when their musical journey begins. He further shared that they have spent years of sleepless nights making songs, rejecting songs, sweating over deadlines, cups of tea, and thinking, debating, and creating on Brahmastra. Pritam Chakraborty was one of the first collaborators to embark on the film's journey.

While praising the music director, the filmmaker also stated that his work, more than anyone else's, provides soul to this vision, and Mukerji believes that relationship to be the highest degree of creative partnership he has had on this film.

The Wake Up Sid's director always thought that the first song in the Brahmastra would be a tune solely dedicated to Shiva, Ranbir's character in the film. However, the Kesariya teaser received so much love that they felt they had to release it first or else everyone would murder them, he joked.

As of right now, he can't picture it any other way. Kesariya is about Shiva and Isha, and their love, which makes up the essence of the Brahmastra. Mukerji sincerely hopes all will appreciate the song when it is released tomorrow and that it will bring joy to people's lives with its beauty and simplicity.

The filmmaker concluded by recommending that viewers listen to the song in all South Indian languages. The team gave each edition their best effort, and they each have a unique individuality.

Brahmastra is set to be released on September 9, 2022.
