With barely any major releases scheduled for November, the month is giving a lot of scope for small and medium budget films to flourish at the box office. Maa Oori Polimera 2, Keedaa Cola, Jigarthanda Double X, Mangalavaaram have benefited out of this. Another concept-driven film, The Trial tests its fortunes at the box office on November 24. The trailer of The Trial was launched by Sree Vishnu yesterday.

The Trial is an interrogative drama headlined by Play Back, Puli Meka fame Spandana Palli, Yugram and Vamsi Kotu. Raam Ganni has written and directed the film produced by Smriti Sagi and Srinivas K Naidu under SS Films and Commonman Productions. The Trial has a familiar yet a captivating premise. The key to investigation dramas is always a good screenplay and meaty characterisation - one needs to wait till November 24 to know if the team has delivered the goods.

Udhay Polime, Sakhi Uttada and Jashwanth Perumalla are also part of the cast. Saravana Vasudevan is the music director for the film while Sai Kumar Dara is the cinematographer. Srikanth Patnaik is the editor and Sudarshan Reddy is the co-producer. Other major releases for November 24 include Aadikeshava, Kota Bommali PS and Sound Party.
