Adapted from the bestselling novel Fabbricante di lacrime, The Tearsmith will be marking its OTT debut on April 4 with Netflix. Alessandro Genovesi’s directorial venture, The Tearsmith, follows the troubled lives of two orphans who find themselves entangled in the same twisted fate.
In the trailer, we meet the two teen protagonists who are brought up in the same abusive orphanage, the Grave. Both of them deal with their past trauma in different ways; while one chooses the imagination of the fairy tales and legend of the mysterious craftsman who makes tears, the other is absorbed in music.
