Anupam Kher is all set for his 525th film titled 'The Signature' which features him as an actor and producer. The trailer of the film, also co-starring Neena Kulkarni, Ranvir Shorey, and Mahima Chaudhry was unveiled today, September 24. The film is gearing up for its OTT release soon, and before that here's everything you need to know about this Kher co-produced film with veteran filmmaker KC Bokadia.

The Signature plot

This Anupam Kher starrer is an adaptation of Vikram Gokhale starrer Anumati. Kher will be seen taking up the role played by Gokhale and the story is said to be set in the Hindi heartland. The narrative of the film revolves around Arvind (Anupam). When his wife Madhu falls ill, he is lost between hope and despair. Will he be able to save his wife? Let's wait and watch.

The Signature trailer

After celebrating a happy 35 years of life together when Arvind's wife Madhu falls ill, his world turns upside down. He is now on a journey where he is fighting for his wife by being a good husband and understanding father but over everything, a tired, sad, and scared man, who is doing everything possible for his wife to be alive. The trailer takes us to this exhausting journey, masterfully played by Anupam Kher as he is trying his best to save his world - his wife.

For the uninitiated, The Signature was selected for the Namaste Vietnam Festival 2023, where it was screened.

The Signature cast

The Signature stars Anupam Kher in the lead role. The film also stars Mahima Chaudhary, Ranvir Shorey, Annu Kapoor, Manoj Joshi, and Neena Kulkarni in important parts. The film is directed by Gajendra Ahire, who also directed the Marathi original. It is produced by K.C. Bokadia and Vinod S. Choudhary.

The Signature release date and OTT platform
