The Signature promo: What will Anupam Kher's Arvind choose in the battle between love and hope?

The Signature featuring Anupam Kher brings a touching tale of hope, love, and sacrifice. The film opted for a direct-to-OTT release and is released on ZEE5 (OTTplay Premium) today. The story of the film follows a heartbreaking tale of a devoted husband who has to make a hard choice when his wife collapses and goes into a coma. Today, on October 4, the makers of the film unveiled a new heartbreaking promo on their social media.

In the new promo shared by the makers today, Anupam Kher's character Arvind can be seen stuck in the battle of love and hope. In the video, we can see him say, "Beshak dardnaak hota hai kisiko kho dena, par behad kaufnaak hota hai kisiko kho dene ka darr." The video then takes us to the heartbreaking journey of Arvind, where he is trying everything in his hands to save his wife Madhu, played by Neena Kulkarni, who is on a ventilator in the hospital. Arvind has the hope that she will live but when he is forced to decide between her life and death, he is completely broken.

The makers shared the video with the caption: "In the battle between love and hope, Arvind must face his deepest fear—signing the DNR. Will he go through with it #TheSignature streaming now, only on ZEE5."

The family drama was released on the OTT platform today, on October 4, with positive reviews by critics and viewers. An excerpt from the OTTplay review read: "The Signature is a film that will move you to tears. From the beginning to the end, the movie keeps you hooked to the screen despite a few bumps here and there."

Along with Anupam Kher, the stellar cast of the film includes Mahima Chaudhary, Ranvir Shorey, Manoj Joshi, Annu Kapoor, and Neena Kulkarni in important parts. The film is a remake of the 2013 Marathi film. 'Anumati'. The film is directed by Gajendra Ahire, who also directed the Marathi original. It is produced by K.C. Bokadia and Vinod S. Choudhary. For the uninitiated, The Signature was selected for the Namaste Vietnam Festival 2023, where it was screened.
