Anupam Kher-starrer The Signature is the Hindi adaptation of Vikram Gokhale’s Marathi film, Anumati.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher is all set for his 525th film with The Signature. Slated to release in the month of October, the gripping trailer has already captured our attention for its heartbreaking story. The film is an adaptation of Vikram Gokhale's film Anumati (2013) where Kher will be seen portraying the lead role which was played by Gokhale in the Marathi film. Ahead of the release, the makers dropped a new promo featuring Mahima Chaudhry.

In the new promo shared by the makers, Mahima Chaudhry is seen asking the viewers: "Aakhir zindagi mein humare paas kharchne ke liye kabhi time kaafi hota hai aur is it always a race against time" The video also shows some glimpses from what to expect from The Signature.

While sharing the promo, the streaming platform captioned it, "Time’s upon us! Mark your calendars—only 2 days to go! The Signature premieres 4th October on #ZEE5."

The narrative of the film revolves around an elderly couple Arvind and Madhu played by Anupam Kher and Neena Kulkarni, respectively. When Madhu collapses just before their international trip, Arvind happy life's takes a massive turn as she is now fighting against her life in the hospital. To save his wife, he is ready to go to any lengths but will that be enough? Will Madhu survive? Let's wait and watch the film to know the answers. The film explores the themes of struggle, hope, sacrifice, and love.

The official synopsis of the film read: "Arvind's lifeline Madhu, falls ill and is put on life support after 35 years of marriage. Lost between hope and despair, will Arvind save Madhu or will realities take over?." Meanwhile, The Signature is directed by Gajendra Ahire and is produced by K.C. Bokadia and Anupam Kher Studio.

Along with Anupam Kher and Annu Kapoor, the star cast of the film includes Mahima Chaudhary, Ranvir Shorey, Manoj Joshi, and Neena Kulkarni in important parts.
