The Signature starring Anupam Kher and Neena Kulkarni has been receiving positive reviews ever since it was released. The film is streaming on ZEE5 (OTTPlay Premium).

Veteran actor Anupam Kher has been getting praise for his performance in his 525th film The Signature. The film was released on October 4 on ZEE5 (OTTPlay Premium). It is an adaptation of Vikram Gokhale's film Anumati (2013) where Kher was seen portraying the lead role which was played by Gokhale in the Marathi film. Days after the release, the makers dropped a new promo where Arvind (Anupam Kher) looked helpless due to his wife's health crisis.

A while ago, ZEE5 shared a new promo of The Signature on their official Instagram handle. In the clip, Arvind (Anupam Kher) and Madhu (Neena Kulkarni) can be seen having a perfect life as they prepare for their much-awaited international trip. But at the last moment, Arvind's wife had a serious health crisis and was diagnosed with a disease.

Sharing the clip, they captioned it, "Forever motivating, protecting, and loving her husband, Madhu is the ideal partner. Will her current state make Arvind fight for her or let her go? The Signature streaming now, only on ZEE5."

The Signature cast

Apart from Anupam Kher and Neena Kulkarni, the cast of the film also features Mahima Chaudhary, Ranvir Shorey, Manoj Joshi, and Annu Kapoor in important parts. For the uninitiated, The Signature was selected for the Namaste Vietnam Festival 2023, where it was screened.

Meanwhile, the plot follows Anupam Kher's Arvind, who faces a serious crisis when his loving wife falls ill just before their international trip. After exhausting all his resources, Arvind is forced to make a life-or-death choice for his wife while he seeks help from his own children.

The Signature is directed by Gajendra Ahire and is produced by K.C. Bokadia and Anupam Kher Studio. The film explores the themes of struggle, hope, sacrifice, and love. The official synopsis of the film read: "Arvind's lifeline Madhu, falls ill and is put on life support after 35 years of marriage. Lost between hope and despair, will Arvind save Madhu or will realities take over?."
