October 4th marks the release date of The Signature which stars Anupam Kher in the lead role. The film, which will skip the theatrical release, is gearing up to start streaming on ZEE5 (OTTplay Premium). The film is directed by Gajendra Ahire and will dive into love, family strength, and sacrifice. Makers of the film have now unveiled a new promo from the film, also celebrating Gandhi Jayanti.

In the new promo, Anupam Kher, who will play the lead character in The Signature can be seen talking about how our elders are meant to be respected. He also mentioned in the video that elders are not meant to be reminded all the time that they are old or not to be mistreated just because they have now become slow. in the video, the actor beautifully explains how it was all the elderly people including Mahatma Gandhi, who were the ones who fought for the nation and hence they all deserve the respect they earned in life.

Sharing the promo on their social media account, the streamer captioned it: "This Gandhi Jayanti, let’s remember and respect the sacrifices, struggles, and development led by our elders for our nation! Vande Mataram. The Signature premieres 4th October on #ZEE5."

Meanwhile, The Signature tells the story of Anupam Kher's Arvind, a devoted husband who is stuck in life's hard decisions when his wife, Madhu (Neena Kulkarni), falls sick. He is now supposed to make the difficult decision to choose to sign a DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) form and decide his wife's life or death decision. Apart from Anupam Kher and Neena Kulkarni, the Hindi drama also stars Mahima Chaudhary, Ranvir Shorey, Annu Kapoor, Sneha Paul, and Manoj Joshi in pivotal roles.
