Sun Pictures, which has produced Vijay-starrer Beast, had recently announced that the trailer of the much-awaited action thriller will be unveiled on April 2. The Nelson directorial flick is hitting the screens on April 13 in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. The production house has released a few stills from the movie as well.

Now, fans of Vijay and Anirudh are elated with the fact that the sensational first single from the film, Arabic Kuthu, has clocked 250M views on YouTube. The song is the fastest in Tamil to have achieved this feat. It is now the third most viewed song on YouTube after Rowdy Baby and Vaathi Coming.

The second single from the movie, Jolly O Gymkhana, however, had a lukewarm response when compared to the first single. Nelson had recently revealed that the movie has one more song which comes across at an important situation in the story.

The director had also said that Vijay will be playing Veera Raghavan, a RAW agent in the film who gets into a rescue mission at an unexpected circumstance which forms the story of Beast. Pooja Hegde, VTV Ganesh, Selvaraghavan and Redin Kingsley among others essay important characters in the film.

Anirudh has composed music for the project; this is the third collaboration of the musician with Nelson after Kolamavu Kokila and Doctor. The background score of both the films received appreciation from the audience; they hope that the magic will be repeated in Beast, too.

Movie lovers expect that the promotions for Beast will be upped after the trailer is unveiled on Saturday. Fans of Vijay are now waiting for his interview which will be telecast around the movie's release. The last time he appeared for an interview was during the release of Thalaivaa.
