Amazon Prime Video's most anticipated fantasy series is finally here. Developed by J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power revolves around the Rings of Power, which were given to the humans, elves and dwarves by the Dark Lord for a greater purpose. Fans who have been long awaiting the show streamed it as soon as it dropped on the OTT giant and also shared their reviews on the first two episodes.
Even not being a big The Lord of the Rings fan, a viewer liked the latest show and took to Twitter to share the review. The post reads, "I’m not a massive fan of Lord of the Rings and yet even I am intrigued by what The Rings of Power has in store (Sic)."
Another viewer loved the show and mentioned, "Absolutely loved the Rings of Power. Such a good show. But knowing how Hollywood is it will get bad reviews and end after 2 seasons because Hollywood is biased vs anything fantasy related. (Sic)."
Another watcher called the first two episodes enjoyable and tweeted, "My brother, my homie, my dad, and myself sat down to watch Rings of Power. My brother: oh no…it has one star… Me: Yianni, that’s from one review… First two episodes were enjoyable. Definitely felt like LOTR. Looking forward to the next one (Sic)."
However, a few Twitter users went blunt and shared their disapproval of the show and shared the reason why they did not like the latest franchise of The Lord of the Rings.
A netizen shares, "Here’s my review of the first episode of Rings of Power - it’s “meh”. Biggest gripe, beyond what all Tolkien fans are complaining about, the elves. Elves are supposed to look, act, and be different than humans. They are the fairer folk. #TheRingsOfPower (sic)."
Another reviewer called it boring and mentioned in a tweet, "Rings of Power review uhmmm medyo boring hahahaha Can't connect to any of the characters. Galadriel's main motive seems so ehhh... (sic)."
Here are a few more fan reviews on the latest show:
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which explores the major happenings ahead of The Hobbit and LOTR Trilogy, is available to stream in six languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
