The Railway Men is one of the most anticipated web shows of this year. It is Yash Raj Films' first web series in association with Netflix. The release date of this web show was recently announced. It is all set to premiere on November 18. And now, the teaser of The Railway Men is out. It begins with R Madhavan's voiceover about the gas leak in Bhopal and how the city is choking.

The teaser of The Railway Men sheds light on a gas leak from a chemical factory in Bhopal. This is also followed by the railway men evacuating people. This glimpse is hard-hitting and can send chills down your spine. It brings back the horrifying memories of the world's worst industrial disaster.
While sharing The Railway Men teaser on Instagram, the makers wrote, "One tragic night that stirred the entire nation and four heroes who fought through it all. Here’s the teaser for TheRailwayMen - a four episode series inspired by true stories. Arrives November 18, only on Netflix! (sic)."

The Railway Men has been directed by debutant director Shiv Rawail while Aayush Gupta has written this four-episode series. It is set against the backdrop of the Bhopal gas tragedy, which happened in 1984. The YRF and Netflix series promises to narrate the untold story of Bhopal 1984.
The official synopsis of this web show reads, "The Railway Men showcases the unshakeable courage of the employees of Indian Railways and their efforts to save countless lives during the city’s darkest hours."
About Bhopal gas Tragedy
The Bhopal gas tragedy was a major chemical accident that took place in December 1984. It happened at a pesticide plant in Bhopal. Over 5 lakh people were exposed to and affected by the methyl isocyanate gas leaked from an American Union Carbide Corporation. It has been claimed that this industrial disaster took nearly 16,000 lives since the incident occurred.
