The Penguin is now streaming on JioCinema and the second episode drops Monday early morning.
The Penguin Episode 2 Teaser Out
No one can stop the impending havoc in Gotham as the Batman-less city spirals into chaos, where criminals vie to become the next Kingpin after the death of Carmine Falcone. Now, Oz Cobb, aka Oswald Cobblepot, also known as The Penguin, rises. He aspires to become the new Crime Boss of Gotham in his standalone show The Penguin which picks up right after the events of The Batman Part I. In this Batman-less Gotham, criminals are all competing to become the city's new power players. But Sofia Falcone is back, and she isn’t about to let her father’s legacy pass to someone outside the family.
Last week, we saw the first episode, which established a cat-and-mouse chase between Sofia Falcone, played by Cristin Milioti, and Oz Cobb, played by Colin Farrell. Now that Sofia knows her brother Alberto Falcone is dead, and Oz has cunningly placed all the blame on Salvatore Maroni, things are getting even more exciting. But that doesn’t mean Sofia will be letting The Penguin get away easily. She has already made it clear that she isn’t happy about how quickly he’s climbing the ranks.
According to the teaser for The Penguin Episode 2, we see a more evolved Oz Cobb, unafraid of Sofia Falcone as he rises above the chaos. He says he knows how to handle Sofia, while Sofia, at the same time, appears to be closing in on him. The show is getting more thrilling as Oz prepares to battle one of Batman’s most ruthless villains, setting up a villain-versus-villain war that will undoubtedly leave Gotham in ruins. As someone says at the end of the teaser, "The streets are talking again!"

The creators have kept most details about The Penguin tightly under wraps. However, the official synopsis reads: Starring Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb (aka "The Penguin"), this eight-episode DC Studios limited series continues filmmaker Matt Reeves' epic crime saga that began with Warner Bros. Pictures' global blockbuster "The Batman." Developed by showrunner Lauren LeFranc, the series centers on the character played by Farrell in the film. The show follows Oz Cobb right after the climax of "The Batman Part I," where Gotham was flooded by The Riddler.
