Tom Hiddleston plays the titular role in the British series, which is adapted in India with the same title.
It's been a few weeks since The Night Manager premiered on Disney+ Hotstar. Aditya Roy Kapur plays the title role in the Indian version of the popular British show of the same name, which also stars Anil Kapoor and Sobhita Dhulipala. Meanwhile, the English show starred Tom Hiddleston as the Night Manager alongside Hugh Laurie and Elizabeth Debecki. Of course, it's the dream of many fans to witness crossover, even on social media. Well, it has been fulfilled, as two "night managers" got on a video call recently.
Yes, Aditya took to his Instagram page and shared a few screenshots in which he is seen talking to Tom on a video call. The actor wrote, "The OG Night Manager watched our show yesterday! He had some kind words to say. Bas aur kya chahiye."
Interstingly, a London screening was held for the OG creators and stars of The Night Manager, where Tom marked his presence. The event was attended by The Night Manager's Indian helmers, Sandeep Modi and Priyanka Ghose.
Sandeep also shared a few photos from the event and wrote, "What a beautiful evening with the generous and charming man that is @twhiddleston. Our Shaan, @adityaroykapur, and Pine came face to face in London over video at the special screening by @simoncorn and team @the_ink_factory_, and we were over the moon with the praise! Also in the pictures is the genius #DavidFarr, whose work on the original me and @shridhar_raghavan adore. Thank you from me, @picsofpinks, @rajeshchadha, @banijayasia, @disneyplushotstar, and the whole team behind #TheNightManager. @anilskapoor, @sobhitad, @tillotamashome, and the rest of my cast and crew were so missed. (sic)"
While Priyanka added, "Even though @sandeipm has already posted the photos from last night, it still isn't enough! I can't thank @the_ink_factory_, @simoncorn, @tess_mon, and @barrytryan enough for this beautiful evening in London! Missing the rest of our team: @adityaroykapur, @anilskapoor, @sobhitad, @tillotamashome, @disneyplushotstar, and the crew. The directors of #thenightmanager @sandeipm & @picsofpinks and producer @rajeshchadha are here representing all of you, and they are here because of all of you. Finally, the OG showrunner #davidfarr and the OG Jonathan Pine @twhiddleston have all my heart from the evening. (sic)"
The second part of The Night Manager will be out in June this year.
