What is the plot of The Miracle Club?

The narrative of the film revolves around four working-class women and is set in the year 1967. The story follows their lives from Dublin on a pilgrimage to Lourdes in France. With a little benevolent interference from their local priest, they get their ticket of a lifetime.

Earlier, in an interview with Movies, O’Sullivan revealed that the movie had been in development for 12 years. “People joke about how long development takes, but I couldn’t believe it was still around. A bunch of women who go to Lourdes looking for a miracle would always have legs,” he said.
