The trailer for The Matrix: Resurrections was screened at the CinemaCon but was never officially released to fans, and this has not gone down well with them,
Warner Bros. is under pressure now as the fans of The Matrix demand the official release of the trailer for the fourth instalment of the movie. The demand from the fans comes after the trailer for the highly anticipated movie debuted at CinemaCon earlier last week but was never released online.
During the event, the trailer for the movie titled The Matrix: Resurrections was screened for a few cinema exhibitors and select members of the press. The reaction to the footage from the sequel soon made headlines on social media and for the right reasons. Since then, the fans have been expecting the trailer to release online but the studio has failed to deliver.
The trailer for movies like Spider-Man: No Way Home was officially released online after it was screened at the event in Las Vegas. This frustrated the Matrix fans more. While the trailer to the MCU movie created records, a trailer for the Keanu Reeves movie is still nowhere to be seen on an online space. The studio has done a good job to avoid any leak of the footage on social media.
Many fans are awaiting the trailer and have asked the studio for an exact release date for the film, but there is no response from Warner Bros yet.
The movie, which will see Keanu Reeves reprise the role of Neo, is directed by Lana Wachowski, who co-wrote and co-directed the previous three instalments of the now-iconic franchise. Apart from Keanu Reeves, the movie also stars Carrie Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, Lambert Wilson, Daniel Bernhardt, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Andrew Caldwell and Priyanka Chopra.
