Get ready to relish an upcoming heartfelt sitcom to binge-watch during the holidays. Netflix has released a plethora of series and movies for December. Whether it’s the Christmas movies or the fantasy to thriller genres, the streaming platform escalated its content in all languages. Now, a new Mexican comedy series is adding to the fun.

In the 1:37-minute trailer, we meet a single mother and working business executive with an ongoing marital separation. Amidst all the chaos and workload, she decides to hire a nanny for her three kids. The turning point hits Jimena when she encounters a charismatic rancher, taking on the role of a manny (male nanny). From winning the children’s hearts to their mother’s - The Manny also includes intriguing elements, like a family secret!

Plot/Cast

The ensemble cast includes Sandra Echeverría (playing the headstrong single mother Jimena), Iván Amozurrutia (playing the charismatic manny Gabriel), Diana Bovio (playing Brenda), José María Torre (playing ex-husband Joaquín), Anthony Giuletti (playing son Leo), Alexander Tavizon (playing Santiago), Cassandra Iturralde (playing Sofía), and Moisés Arizmendi (playing Rogelio).

According to Netflix’s summary, the plot is as follows:

Jimena juggles trying to keep her life in order. Between raising her three children, competing for the company's presidency, and dealing with her (almost) ex-husband, she has her hands full. She then meets Gaby, a charming rancher who unexpectedly turns out to be the best nanny for her children. Unexpectedly, Gabriel and Jimena will fall in love without minding stereotypes about gender roles.
