The Lost City trailer: Brad Pitt saves Sandra Bullock-Channing Tatum from Daniel Radcliffe's trap

The trailer for The Lost City is out. The film can be called a casting coup with Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum in the lead roles. The trailer starts with a writer, played by Bullock, thinking about her next book, with Tatum playing the leading hero. However, he is just a figment of his imagination until he appears in reality during the book launch. But that's not the deal. Daniel Radcliffe kidnaps Bullock only to seek her help to find The Lost City on which her book is based.

The trailer gives a long glimpse into the roller coaster ride Bullock and Tatum go through to just get out of the mystical city. Towards the end of the trailer, the Miss Congeniality actor is saved by none other than Brad Pitt, who appears in a Thor-like look.

The premise of The Lost City is described as such: Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock), a brilliant but reclusive author, has spent her career writing about exotic places in her popular romance-adventure novels starring handsome cover model Alan (Channing Tatum), who has dedicated his life to embodying the hero character, "Dash."

Loretta is kidnapped while on tour promoting her new book with Alan by an eccentric billionaire (Daniel Radcliffe) who hopes she can lead him to the ancient lost city's treasure from her latest story. Alan sets out to save her, wanting to prove that he can be a hero in real life as well as in the pages of her books. Thrown into an epic jungle adventure, the unlikely pair must work together to survive the elements and recover the ancient treasure before it is lost forever.

The story of The Lost City is by Seth Gordon, with a screenplay penned by Oren Uziel, Dana Fox, Adam Nee, and Aaron Nee. The latter two directed the adventure comedy film.
