The Last Flight: Shreyas Talpade to play Major Atul Gajre in the EORTV web series

Also starring Deepti Lele, the show is set to start streaming on EORTV this month.

EORTV is gearing up for the release of the bilingual web series, The Last Flight starring Shreyas Talpade and Deepti Lele. The makers have also released the official trailer of the show today.

The web series is an anthology series, which tells the stories that surround line-of-duty, the glorious victory and struggles on the battlefield. The stories of these heroes will be narrated by the legendary warrior Chatrapati Shivaji.

Shreyas Talpade stars in the web series in the role of Major Atul Garje, the pilot who saved hundreds of lives on his final flight with his co-pilot, Capt. Bhanu Pratap. The show’s trailer gives a better look into Talpade’s character.

Talking about his role, Talpade said in a press release, “I am honoured to be playing the role of Major Atul Garje in The Last Flight. The series is based/inspired from his life. It's an inspiring true story & is a reminder of their love, sacrifice & their heroic struggles which I believe are timeless”.

The web series, which will have stories about heroes at war, is set to start streaming on the streaming platform on April 9.

Shreyas Talpade on the other hand is an actor who is talked about recently, following the release of Kaun Pravin Tambe?. The movie, which is based on the life of Indian cricketer Pravin Tambe, has received positive reviews.

“Unlike other sports dramas, you don’t get to hear a rousing background score in the climax of the film to MAKE you feel the payoff. It is left to the acting prowess of Talpade (and some clever CGI to recreate the Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders IPL match, with him) to do the job.” reads the movie’s review on OTTplay.
