The second episode of comedian Kapil Sharma's Netflix show, The Great India Kapil Show, aired on Saturday night, which saw cricketers Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer as guests. The one-hour-long episode was filled with laughter, interspersed with some light-hearted yet meaningful conversations. While the episode aired two days ago, a video from the latest episode of the show is trending online. It shows Shreyas Iyer and Kapil Sharma playing with a deck of cards in the presence of Rohit Sharma.
Netizens call Shreyas Iyer a ‘full-time cricketer, part-time magician’
At the beginning of the viral video, Shreyas is seen asking Kapil to speak out a random name during a game of cards. Kapil said Archana Puran Singh, the actress who was present as an audience member on the show. For the sake of ease in the game, Kapil and Shreyas chose to pick the first name of the starlet instead of the full name.
Soon, Shreyas shuffled the bunch of cards and requested Kapil to draw a card from the pack. The young cricketer requested Kapil not to reveal the details of the card to him. Kapil agreed.
However, upon Shreyas’ request, the comedian later revealed the card’s face to the audience on the show. Kapil had drawn ‘Ace’ as the card. Shreyas, on the other hand, gazed at the pack of cards and did not look at the audience. The cricketer had no idea about which card Kapil drew. Later, after a ‘magical conversation’, Shreyas came to know that Kapil drew Ace. This development took netizens by surprise.
Taking to microblogging site X, one social media user said, “Shreyas Iyer- Full time Cricketer, Part time Magician”. Tens of thousands of netizens have liked and viewed this video.
