The Goat Telugu box office collection day one: The Goat was released in Telugu on a massive number of screens on September 5, 2024. The response has been below average.
The Goat Telugu box office collection day one: The Goat is Vijay's latest film which has been released on a solid note in Telugu states as well. With each passing film, Vijay's market has seen a striking rise and this was seen when special shows were aired at 4 AM in Hyderabad. The response to the film has been mixed but as per the latest update, The Goat has made Rs 3.5 crore gross which is a decent number.
But the sad part is that the film has taken off to a very mixed talk. The reviews in Telugu have been disappointing and this has surely affected the occupancy for the film. There is a slight drop in the occupancy as the morning shows in Hyderabad started with only 50% occupancy.

But as Vijay has a decent market and with the weekend setting in, The Goat will see some occupancy in the next two days. The pre-release business of The Goat was locked at only Rs 12 crore which was a very gettable target. But other films like Nani's Saripodhaa Sanivaaram are nearing its Rs 100 crore gross soon.
As there were massive rains, the collections of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram were affected big time. But things have picked up again as the rain has stayed away. The dull response to The Goat will surely help Nani's film. There are no other major releases and the other release 35 Chinna Katha Kaadu is a family drama and it will not pose any threat to Saripodhaa Sanivaaram and The Goat.
Venkat Prabhu directed the film which had music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Sneha, Prasanth, Prabhu Deva, and several others played key roles in The Goat which had Vijay in a double role. The response to the film in Tamil is also not that great. So, we need to see how The Goat will perform in the next few days in Telugu states. Watch this space for more updates on The Goat.
