The Greatest Of All Time aka The GOAT, the action thriller which stars Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role in one of the most-awaited Indian films of 2024. The movie, directed by Venkat Prabhu, is gearing to have its grand theatrical release on Thursday, September 5, 2024. The advance bookings of The GOAT were kickstarted recently, across the globe. As expected, the Thalapathy Vijay starrer has now set a new record in Tamil cinema, with its worldwide pre-sales.
As per the latest updates from the trade experts, The Greatest Of All Time aka The GOAT has crossed the Rs. 25 crore mark already, just with its pre-sales. The Thalapathy Vijay starrer made this massive achievement in less than 12 hours after the advance bookings of the film begun. Now, it is safe to assume that the Venkat Prabhu directorial will set a few more all-time records in the Tamil film industry with its pre-sales, within the first 24 hours. The final pre-sales collection from the worldwide centers might even cross the Rs. 75 crore mark.

Now, it is also safe to assume that The Greatest Of All Time is gearing up to have an earth-shattering opening at the worldwide box office, with its Day 1 collection. While considering the massive advance booking rates and the record number of shows, the Thalapathy Vijay starrer has all the possibilities to emerge as the all-time biggest box office opener in the industry. The trade experts suggest that the Venkat Prabhu directorial might make a triple-digit opening, by crossing the Rs. 100 crore mark on Day 1.
Thalapathy Vijay is appearing in a double role as a father and son in The GOAT, which is scripted by Venkat Prabhu, himself. The movie features a stellar star cast including Sneha, Mohan, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Jayaram, Laila, Ajmal Ameer, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Yogi Babu, Premji Amaran, VTV Ganesh, Aravind Akash, and others in the supporting roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music. Siddhartha Nuni and Venkat Raajen handled the cinematography and editing, respectively.
