The Family Man makers have this to say about the Lonavala mystery

Raj Nidimoru, Krishna DK and Suparn Verma talked about the much-plagued question from the show recently,

What happened in Lonavala? – this seems to be the question that most of the cast and crew of The Family Man have been asked since the first season aired a few years ago. While the first season left fans intrigued about what exactly happened the night Suchi (Priyamani) and Arvind (Sharad Kelkar) stayed together in a hotel in Lonavala, the second season left the audience even more curious with one of its major cliffhangers, when Suchi was about to tell Srikant (Manoj Bajpayee) something and the screen blacked out.

At the Dial M For Films session organised by MAMI, its creators Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK as well as the co-director Suparn Verma talked about the Lonavala Mystery. DK said that they are actually not hiding anything and that they will be dropping hints about what could have happened. The creator added, “Also, at some point in the writer’s room, we decided that the audience will find out when Srikant finds out.”,

While talking about the same, Suparn said the matter is pertaining to Suchi’s privacy and added, “I think that’s the question that should never be answered for as long as the show runs.”,

The Family Man 2 is one of the biggest hits of 2021. The team has been praised for the second season’s performance. Both seasons of The Family Man can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video.
