The Family Man 3 details revealed: Srikant’s new mission is set in the pandemic

When Manoj Bajpayee’s The Family Man first premiered in 2019, audiences were in awe of the range of the actor. In this espionage action-thriller, the actor plays the role of Srikant Tiwari - an ordinary man by day and a special agent by night. Fans are already anticipating an explosive third season of the series. To their delight, reports by Pinkvilla have confirmed that a third season is in the making.

Created by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K, popularly known as Raj and DK, The Family Man 2 was released on Amazon Prime Video last week. In the second instalment, unanswered questions from the first season were answered and new mysteries were unraveled by Srikant, who is now working a 9-to-5 job.

In the third season, Srikant, JK and his colleagues are all set to reunite on a fresh mission. As revealed in the post-credit scenes of season 2, the third season will be set in the pandemic. The creators of The Family Man paired up with Amazon Prime Video through the lockdown to bring the element of the pandemic into the show.

Sources have also stated that Srikant will not be battling the virus. Instead, he will be warring with the Chinese troops.

The first two seasons of The Family Man were met with immense praise and recognition for all cast members. The second season of the show, which can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video, also stars Samantha Akkineni, Sharib Hashmi, and Priyamani alongside Bajpayee.
