The Family Man 2: Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, Raj & DK finally reveal ‘What happened in Lonavala?’

The Family Man had ended on a cliffhanger associating with Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee)'s wife Suchitra (Priyamani).

As the release of The Family Man season 2 is inching closer, the makers of the show have been releasing promo videos to pique the interest of the audience. In one of their latest clips, the cast and crew of the web series spoke about the hottest question on the internet right now - What happened in Lonavala?

Raj & DK, who have helmed the show, addressed the question and revealed that they went to buy chikki in Lonavala. They asked fans to wait for the show’s release. Sharib Hashmi, who plays the character of Srikant’s colleague JK Talpade in the series, backed their claim stating that he always goes to Lonavala to buy chikki and fudge, so Suchitra and Arvind would have done the same.

Srikant himself said that ‘Suchi’ might have gone to buy fudge like others are claiming. Meanwhile, Priyamani outright refused to answer the question.

For the uninitiated, the lead character Manoj Bajpayee aka Srikant Tiwari’s wife Suchitra (Priyamani) spent the night with her colleague Arvind (Sharad Kelkar) in the show. Fans of the series have been curious since then to know if she cheated on Srikant with Arvind.

The Family Man 2 will also feature Samantha Akkineni in the lead role along with Manoj. This would also mark her debut in the Hindi film industry with the hit series.

The show also brings back Priyamani, Sharad, Sharib, and Darshan Kumaar. However, it is still unclear whether the antagonist from The Family Man - Moosa aka Neeraj Madhav would make an appearance in The Family Man 2. The series starts streaming on Amazon Prime Video from June 4.
