Kareena Kapoor Khan debuts as co-producer in Hansal Mehta's The Buckingham Murders set for a September 2024 release.
The Buckingham Murders the third collaboration of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ektaa R Kapoor, and the actor's first with Hansal Mehta, has finally got a release date. The actor-producer duo previously worked together in Crew and Veere Di Wedding. Despite the fact that the duo has already become beloved for their comedic dramas, they are now tackling a murder mystery, and it appears to be quite intriguing. Kareena Kapoor Khan will make her film debut in the role of co-producer. The film will premiere in theatres on September 13, 2024.

They wrote that they are thrilled to announce that The Buckingham Murders is coming to theatres on September 13, 2024. Hansal Mehta is directing the film, which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker wrote the film, which stars an ensemble cast including Ash Tandon, Ranveer Brar, and Keith Allen. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ektaa R. Kapoor, and Shobha Kapoor are producers, with support from Balaji Telefilms and TBM Films.
Kareena has admitted in a number of recent interviews that she agreed to star in this film despite the fact that she was receiving unfavourable casting calls. She went on to say that she had fangirled over Kate Winslet's portrayal in Mare of Easttown on six separate occasions before accepting a role in Hansal's The Buckingham Murders which was extremely similar and involved a mother and a no-nonsense detective. In addition to jumping on board, she chose to co-produce it. Furthermore, she thinks that The Buckingham Murders is a watershed moment in her acting career.
