The Broken News S2 spoilers – Hints that this season might mark the end of the Sonali Bendre-led series
The Broken News 2

The Broken News S2 has now released on OTT and it might just mark the end of the show. The makers have given various hints that this might be the last season of the series (although there are also hints that it could continue). The major hints are something you probably were not ready for.

PS: Major spoilers ahead. Read at your own risk.

Spoiler 1 – Sonali Bendre, dead?

Sonali Bendre dies in the second season of The Broken News. Since she is the face of the series, there is lesser probability that the show might be revived for a third season (unless there’s a ghost or some flashbacks involved).

Spoiler 2 – The rift between Shriya Pilgaonkar-Jaideep Ahlawat is now over

In a spoiler making rounds of the internet, we see how Shriya Pilgaonkar’s Radha Bhargava and Jaideep Ahlawat’s Dipakar Sanyal, who were at each other’s throats and fiercely, have actually put their differences behind them. Since there is a happy ending there, it could hint that the show has come to an end. Of course, there’s also a possibility of them reviving the series with a new topic and new rift, but that seems like a far-fetched thought at this point.

Reviews for The Broken News S2

The Broken News S2 is unanimously receiving applauds for its content. Many have gone on to call this season better than the first as well. For the uninitiated, the show explores the rift between Radha and Dipakar. It intensifies, now that Radha is back after being falsely accused as a terrorist and sent to jail, thanks to the fake news portrayed as the truth by Dipakar. She seeks revenge, but thanks to Sonali Bendre’s Ameena Qureshi, Radha manages to stay level-headed even in the toughest of situations, when she is tested on a mental and emotional level. This is despite an attempt to murder on Radha, courtesy Dipakar.
