A year after releasing the teaser of The Broken News Season 2, the maker of the series released the trailer for the project starring Sonali Bendre, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Shriya Pilgaonkar in the lead roles on April 16. The second season of the series will be available to stream starting May 3 on ZEE5. Amid such developments, the streaming giant released a fresh poster for the series today that features Sonali Bendre as journalist Amina Qureshi in a bold and confident look.

Directed by Vinay Waikul, the highly anticipated trailer for the upcoming second season of the popular newsroom series The Broken News on ZEE5 was released. The new season, starring Sonali Bendre, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Shriya Pilgaonkar, is set to debut on May 3. In the trailer, viewers are treated to an intense confrontation between Radha Bhargava of news outlet Awaz Bharti (played by Shriya) and Dipankar Sanyal of news outlet Josh 24x7 (portrayed by Jaideep), where ideals clash with sensationalism. Radha, who was previously imprisoned by Dipankar, returns with a vengeance, determined to take down his style of journalism.
